Account Deletion & Data Privacy Requests
At Medical Vmail, we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. In accordance with our Privacy Policy, you have the right to manage your information, request its disclosure, or ask for its permanent deletion.
How to submit a request
To request the deletion of your account or to exercise your data privacy rights (such as accessing or correcting your data), please follow these steps:
- Send an Email: Contact our support team at support@getvideoicemail.com.
- Subject Line: Please use a clear subject line, such as "Account Deletion Request" or "Data Privacy Inquiry".
- Provide Information: In your email, please specify the phone number used to register your account so we can accurately identify your records.
What you can request:
- Account Deletion: Permanent removal of your account, phone number, and all associated video voicemails (vmails).
- Data Disclosure: A report on what personal information we have collected and how it is being used.
- Data Correction: Updating any inaccurate personal information.
- Opt-Out: A request to ensure your personal information is not sold (note: Medical Vmail does not sell user data).
What data will be removed upon deletion?
If you choose to delete your account, the following will be permanently cleared from our active databases:
- Your authentication records and phone number.
- Your profile details and clinic connections.
- All recorded video voicemails and history logs.
Data Retention
Please note that certain information may be retained for a limited period if required by law for medical record-keeping or regulatory compliance.
